The Power Bar is an MFi-certified wireless power bank ideal for charging your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch on the go. When connected to an electrical outlet, it also functions as a 3-in-1 Apple charging station for your desktop. Its two Qi ports and magnetic Apple Watch dock allow you to wirelessly charge up to three devices simultaneously. The 30W USB-C PD port can be used for both input and output – recharge the Power Bar itself, or charge your MacBook Air, iPad, or other Type-C/Lightning device with one of the provided cables. The Power Bar is compatible with all smartphones, earbuds and smartwatches that support Qi wireless charging, as well as USB devices with an input power of 30W or less.
FAQs
Is the Power Bar compatible with MagSafe?
Yes. The two Qi spots incorporate standard Qi charging technology (non-magnetic), which is 100% compatible with MagSafe iPhone models.
Can I use the wireless spots and USB-C port at the same time?
Yes, all four can be used simultaneously. The Power Bar's maximum total output is 53W.
What does MFi certification mean?
The MFi label is Apple's official certification of guaranteed compatibility with iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Can the Power Bar charge Android devices as well? What about the USB-C port?
The two Qi wireless charging spots (marked with the Einova logo, or the Qi logo in earlier versions) are compatible with any Qi device, Android included. The 30W USB-C port is universally compatible with USB-C and USB-A devices for wired charging; in fact, it's USB-IF certified for guaranteed safe recharging performance. The Apple Watch spot is compatible exclusively with the Apple Watch series.
Can the Power Bar charge laptops?
The Power Bar can charge MacBook Air, iPad, and other similarly sized laptops and tablets (30W maximum power input).
Does the Power Bar support pass-through charging?
Yes. Whilst recharging the Power Bar via the USB-C port and a ≥30W charger, you can also use the two Qi Spots and Apple Watch spot.
How do I recharge the Power Bar?
Use the included USB-C cable to connect the USB-C port to USB-C charger of at least 30W. We recommend using a >30W charger to ensure excellent performance during pass-through charging. A less powerful charger will result in longer recharging times.
What do the blue and green LED lights indicate?
Each green light corresponds to one of the Qi wireless charging spots; they activate when the Qi spots are in use. The three blue LED lights on the Power Bar indicate the device's battery level.
Why isn't my iPhone charging beyond 80%?
With the release of iOS 13, Apple introduced Optimised Battery Charging, a feature that uses machine learning to help preserve iPhone battery life. This feature limits the time an iPhone spends at a full charge by only charging up to 80% until certain conditions are met. This is a normal function of Optimised Battery Charging and does not indicate any defect in your Einova wireless charger.
